About me / Sobre mim / Обо мне
[editar]Hello! I am Thaissom Schultz Conter (in Russian: Тайссом Шульц Контер), a Brazilian student, chemical technician, and linguistics enthusiast currently living and studying in Russia.
My journey combines a strong analytical background with a deep passion for intercultural studies. I hold a Technical degree in Chemistry from Colégio Pensar (Brazil) and was a consecutive National and Regional medalist in the Brazilian Mathematics Olympiad (OBMEP). Currently, I am pursuing advanced studies in Russia, where I also research the linguistic dialogue between our cultures.
Wiktionary Focus
[editar]As an independent researcher, my main goals on Wiktionary are:
- Missing Entries & Neologisms: Documenting words and expressions not yet registered.
- Scientific Terminology: Improving accuracy in chemical nomenclature and scientific definitions across Portuguese, English, and Russian.
- Cross-linguistic Expansion: Bridging gaps between Romance languages and Russian.

- en: Advanced / Fluent (C1 level).
- ru: Intermediate (B1 level). Completed preparatory courses at Southern Federal University (SFEDU) with top honors (score 98/100). Starting September 2026, I will pursue a Specialist degree in Chemistry taught entirely in Russian.
- es: Basic to Intermediate. Self-taught, with good reading comprehension and mutual intelligibility.
