Wikisource:Esplanada/Spellcheck para ortografia arcaica do português (pre-1911)

Sorry for not in Portuguese, I'm too novice in it to express my question. I'm sure I'm not the first who asks for it, but is there a spellchecker for old, pre-1911 orthography of Portuguese? The best for me would be a dictionary for Firefox. Nonexyst (discussão) 13h28min de 16 de setembro de 2015 (UTC)[responder]

Until now I didn't found any spellchecker for ancient Portuguese orthography. Portuguese native speakers seems to be enough busy trying to understand or even arguing against the Acordo Ortográfico de 1990 to develop IT solutions for it. In fact, I don't know any group or website other than Portuguese Wikisource or Distributed Proofreaders@Project Gutenberg that treats those ancient writing conventions as we do; they normally wants to simply convert to the current schemas. Hi Lugusto, thanks for demonstrating me some editing conventions on my addition.
Well, I think the spellchecker would be created in five minutes if we had the list of words (including grammatical forms). But I suggest, if it existed, the spellchecker would quickly be created.
So, if we had some de-conversion algorithm (from new to old orthography), I would create the old spellchecker from modern one. But I think nobody created such algorithm, so
I'm not sure, but I may try to create it from any conversion algorithm, do You know where to get one?
And did You ask PGDP whether they have a spellchecker? Nonexyst (discussão) 23h07min de 16 de setembro de 2015 (UTC)[responder]
@PGDP, I'll ask them tomorrow/in few hours. Lugusto 03h48min de 17 de setembro de 2015 (UTC)[responder]
Wow, thanks for Dicionário, I'll try to create the spellchecker using it, if the PGDP does not have it. Nonexyst (discussão) 10h00min de 17 de setembro de 2015 (UTC)[responder]

────────── Just realized that each proofread project on PGDP have a good words/bad words list. Examples:

Their documentation on this feature is also interesting. In conjunction with it:Aiuto:Strumenti_per_la_rilettura#PostOCR may be very interesting! I'm pmling rfarinha asking about sharing/re-using their good words/bad words lists. Lugusto 16h11min de 17 de setembro de 2015 (UTC)[responder]

@Nonexyst: rfarinha replied hours ago advising to message ricdiogo regarding usage of good words/bad words lists here on Wikisource. But unfortunately phpBB3 reports their last seen as 04 Sep 2012 07:01. She also pointed two pages [1][2]. Also per this page, their spellchecker is a module of PDGP software engine. @555: thanks for help, I'll try to process these data next week and finally answer here.Nonexyst (discussão) 08h20min de 20 de setembro de 2015 (UTC)[responder]
Sorry I abandoned my project in favor to other Wikisource edition. I plan to complete my work next months. Nonexyst (discussão) 23h20min de 27 de novembro de 2015 (UTC)[responder]
